CR Countdown Day 5: Young Guns
Young Guns is coming to Carolina Rebellion by way of London, and this isn’t the first time they’re playing a festival riddled with great acts - hardly surprising, given the undeniable talent of the quintet. Though their debut album was released only a short time ago (September 4, 2012), Young Guns is steadily rising up as a strong figure in the rock scene, and a force to be reckoned with.
The title track for their impressive debut, “Bones”, also serves as a flag of triumph: The track reached number one on the active rock charts after 32 weeks - making it the record holder for the longest unbroken climb to the top of the charts. That’s quite impressive for their first single, but on listening to it, it’s hardly surprising. “Bones” stands out for its defiant determination, and it’s executed flawlessly.
We’re looking forward to seeing Young Guns at Carolina Rebellion this year - and that hopefully won’t be the last time! What do you think of the rising rockstars? Check them out below!
